Configuring Windows Vista Mail

1. Open Windows Mail.
2. Click Tools .
3. Click Accounts .
4. Click Add .
5. Select Email Account and click Next .
6. Enter your Name and click Next .
7. Enter your Email address and click Next .
   
   This screen will have three fields:
   
   • Select POP3 as email server type.
   • Enter mail.myactv.net in the Incoming mail server field.
   • Enter mail.myactv.net in the Outgoing mail server field.
     
     
8. Check the box to enable "Outgoing Server requires authentication."
9. Click Next .
10. Enter your Username and Password .
11. Click Next .
12. Click Finish .
13. Highlight the account you just configured and Click Properties .
14. Click the Servers Tab .
15. Under Outgoing Mail Server Click Settings .
16. Under Logon Information Make sure "Use the same settings as my incoming mail server."
17. Click OK .
18. Click Apply.
19. Click OK .
20. Click Close .
