Blocking pop-ups
Chrome
- Open the browser
- Click on the menu button at top right of the browser (when you hover over it, it will read "Customize and control Google Chrome")
- Click on Settings
- Scroll to the bottom and click on "Show advanced settings..."
- Under the Privacy section, click on the "Content Settings" button
- Select the "Do not allow any site to show pop-ups" radio button
- Click on the "Done" button at bottom
Firefox
- Open the browser
- Click the menu icon at top right
- Select Options
- Click on "Privacy & Security" in the left navigation
- Scroll down and check the "Block pop-up windows" box
Microsoft Edge
- Open the browser
- Click on the ... icon at top right
- Select "Settings"
- Click the "View Advanced Settings" button
- Set the "Block pop-ups" option to On.
